The following contraindications prohibit the use of Colon Hydrotherapy. DO NOT participate in a Colon Hydrotherapy session if you have any of the following conditions:

• Acute abdominal pain

• Recent abdominal Surgery

• Anal or intestinal fissure or fistula (a tear in the colon or rectum)

• Anemia (severe or untreated)

• Aneurysm

• Carcinoma of the rectum

• Cardiac Disease (severe, uncontrolled hypertension or congestive

heart failure)

• Cirrhosis

• Colitis (acute)

• Colon or rectal cancer

• Colon, stomach or intestinal surgery (written doctor’s clearance required after 12 month post operation)

• Colostomy

• Crohn's disease

• Currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment

• Diverticulitis

• Eating disorders such as, but not limited to anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder (currently experiencing)

• Epilepsy

• Psychoses

• General debilitation

• GI Hemorrhage/Perforation

• Hemorrhoids (in a severely inflamed or bleeding stage)

• Hernia of the abdomen or groin

• Recent heart attack

• Rectal or intestinal bleeding 

• Hernia (abdominal/inguinal)

• History of seizures 

• History of stroke

• Intracranial Hypertension

• Kidney Dialysis

• Pregnancy (currently)

• Renal Insufficiency (kidney failure, kidney issues)

• Rectal, intestinal or abdominal tumors

• Ulcerative Colitis

• Vascular aneurism

• Water Fasting (currently)
